Keypad Function:

·        Inc key – Program Function Key, later used for incrementing data entry values

·        Dec key – Show /display Alarms Function key, later used for decrementing data entry values.

·        Enter key – Used for validating keypad entries during programming mode.

·        Manu key – Relay1 Manual on/off Function.(Toggle function –press once to turn ON relay, press again to turn OFF relay

Manual Statii of relays are not stored in memory.

Ø On power On, Unit shall be in Auto Mode.

Ø On Power on, the unit shall display the actual time with the colon in blinking mode

Ø Time setting and Alarm programming is to be done in 24 hours format only

Ø Each relay has 2 sets of alarms : ON(start)- time 1– OFF (stop)

Ø If you want to use only 1 set of alarms, user has to set 00 – 00 values for the ON and OFF times of  the unused alarms. This is need to prevent wrong operating of the relays.

Using the Unit:

v Press the prog/Inc key to start programming the unit

v The set time indicator starts flashing and the display shows the message TIME for a brief period and then shows the actual time with the minutes value in flashing mode.

v Use the Inc/Dec keys to set the desired value for minutes and press Entry key.

v The hours value now starts flashing. Enter the desired value for hours using the Inc/dec keys and press enter key.

v Note that the seconds will be resets to 00 value for synchronization when the user presses the enter key after inputting the value for hours

v The set Alarm indicator turns On, the Alarm 1 On indicator turns On, display shows the message Alm 1 briefly and relay 1 indicator R1 becomes On and the ON(start) time indicator of Alarm 1 also turns on. The display now shows the present Alarm1 setting with minute value in flashing mode.

v This is the ON1 Alarm setting of Relay1. Use the Inc/Dec keys to change the minute values and press enter. Now the Hours value is in flashing mode. Use the Inc/Dec keys to set the desired values for the hours and then press enter key.

v The OFF indicator of Alarm1 now turns On. The display now shows the present off time of Alarm1 setting with minutes value in flashing mode

v This is the OFF time alarm setting of Relay. Use the Inc/Dec keys to change the minute values and press enter key. Now the hours value is in flashing mode. Use the Inc/Dec keys to set the desired values for the hours and then press enter key. The ON and OFF indicators for Alarm 1 now turn OFF.

v This completes Alarm1 programming.

v The display shows the message Alm2 briefly and the ON indicator of Alarm2 turns ON. The current minute value for Alarm 2 is displayed in flashing mode. As above,use the Inc/Dec keys and Enter keys to program values for minute and hours for Alarm2 on and Off times. The ON and OFF indicator for Alarm 2 now turn off.

v This completes Alarm 2 Programming

v The programmed values are stored in the stored in the memory permanently.

 

Manual Operation:

 

This is for testing and/or emergency purposes only. Relay will not turn on/off as per the programmed Alarm times when the unit is placed in manual mode.

 

ü To turn ON the relay, press MANU key for1 second and release the key. Relay will turn ON and the Manual mode LED will start flashing to indicate manual mode of operation.

ü To turn OFF the Relay, press the MANU key  again for 1 second and then release the key. Relay1 will turn OFF and the manual mode indicator will also turn OFF.
